OH EM GEEE

holy moly i have been so busy this last week. not nearly as busy as school, but still. go to work, come home, sleep for 4 or 5 hours, read/computer, try to fall asleep until i have to get up again. anyhow...i have resolved to keep 60-65% of my paycheck as an EMERGENCY FUND! and the rest for shopping/food/other stuff. hehe. except maybe i should save some more since i might need it for austin.

which brings us to....HONORS COLLOQUIUM! hehheeh i'm so excited =DDDDD i hope it is tons tons tons of fun ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

and i've been reading the wrong translation of C&P. but i was planning to reread it anyhow before the "evaluation" so it's ok. plus, how different could it be?

i'm seriously getting fat at work...the "vacation fairy" left us ice cream bars and lollipops. and i indulged in several ice cream sandwiches. plus, we were treated to 15 boxes of pizza. i only took 3 pieces of supreme, but they were sooooo good. <3 and then today we had mini blueberry muffins and donuts. and now my cholesterol is like 239 which is in the borderline high risk zone. and high risk is 240+. so...i should do something about that.

sunshine, i have to give you your biology sat ii book back. and i am just so...not motivated to do your yearbook! i was motivated that first day i got it, but then it wore off after i couldn't figure out the flower -_- but it will eventually happen.

and today i think i am volunteering at quad c.

mornings are miserable

man, I get up every morning at seven and I'm half-asleep until lunchtime. I sleep on the car, I sleep on the dart, I sleep on the mustang express, I sleep at the lab until someone wakes me up and tells me to do something.

and now I'm trying really really hard not to sleep because the professor is downstairs and I shouldn't always be sleeping when she's in the lab.

not that being on the computer is any better than sleeping, I think. hmm there are still cookies behind me... I want to eat one. maybe the chocolate will get my blood sugar up and I'll stop feeling so sleepy.

I like my blood exactly where it is... in my body!

I'm not sure if I have to come to smu next week. probably. I might not even get independence day off. =( but I will ask. because my mom gets monday and tuesday off! and my brother has an orthodontics appointment on wednesday (haha braces tightened!) so I might have to stay home that day to take him places.

mm I don't even remember what rain smells like....

MAN I AM SO SLEEPY MY EYES ARE CLOSING OF THEIR OWN ACCORD.

man I read about the harry potter thing in so many places and when I went to eat pho yesterday the interview segment was playing on tv and it was just wow, harry potter is this big of big news? or maybe there's just nothing going on in the world besides the copious amounts of rain on the east coast. and the complete lack of it here.

okay I give up. back to sleep for me. the professor just left anyway.

oh yeah. have fun in china, yini!

MUSIC MOUNTAIN

is the name of the water i am drinking.

lol i just noticed what you added under summer rain. hahahahahhahahaaaaaaaaa didn't we have summer rain like...last weekend? or maybe weekend before last...ok i don't remember.

gave blood again yesterday, and the finger prick still hurts while the actual place where they drew blood is pretty much fine. it was just like last time, except this time there was a spurt. and they put the bag on my wrist...my blood is pretty warm. haha. ugh how am i going to watch the rest of devil beside you?! i've only watched until episode 10... cry ='( this means i should probably get started on crime and punishment. and i'm giving up on tess of the d'urbervilles without even having touched the book. i'll just read poisonwood bible again...that's right. taking the easy way out, as usual =D

ughhhh i don't want to do this yearbook T-T booo POOOOO. i've been hearing/reading all these terrible things about hp7 ahhhhh no more no more!!! thank goodness for all those alternate universe things hehehe.

our friends came back from taiwan with loooads of mochi <3 so fattening. so delicious. MMMM. i sort of wish our city wasn't that big, b/c then i could walk to places which would mean i would walk around more. but then again, i'm glad we're not a ghetto little noplace town.

i wish they would schedule my work in the mornings more, but i want to be more accommodating? accommadating? accomadating? whatever. haha the supergenius i am need not be bothered by this insignificant matter of spelling.

anyway, let's make plans for next week! my dad is off work so he can take me places, and kd is closed for the week. i don't know if i have to go to the hospital on wednesday, i'll ask.

eeeee you should come over and see simba!! he's soooo freaking cute <333

LAA LAA LAAALALAA LAAA LA LAAAAAAA

that's supposed to be the stars and stripes forever, but I don't think anyone can particularly tell.

so I'm being bored right now, which is nothing new to me. I also have the stars and stripes forever stuck in my head, which is rather new to me. (wouldn't it be embarrassing if it weren't actually called the stars and stripes forever? anyway that march by sousa.)

so I had planned on going to the yale information session on sunday, but it completely slipped from my mind, which means I probably was not very serious about it anyway. (I wasn't.) so louisa was telling me about it, and she said that there was really no point to going since she knew everything already anyway, but that's probably because she's already memorized the yale website. talking to her always makes me feel like such a slacker.

I should really stop reading such nonsense books and get my summer reading done. or even start on it. or even buy a copy of crime and punishment.

and somehow get my bcis credit out of the way, because it would be terribly sad if I couldn't graduate come may because of bcis.

but I went to the library last night and got a copy of twilight. I'm excited. =)

THE LACK OF UPDATES

oops?

okay so nothing interesting happened to me at all since I last updated, except that my wardrobe has once again grown. actually it technically shrunk since my dad took a lot of my middle school clothes (aka all my navy, white, black, grey, etc. shirts) away to china. but wardrobe additions are always interesting to me.

then I stayed up too late many nights. one night I was looking at prime pages and apcentral (I remember this clearly because grace was telling me I had absolutely no life, which is saying something because she spends every free moment watching dramas). then yesterday I stayed up far too late reading a beach book. the sky was turning light by the time I went to sleep (I didn't even finish the book, how sad).

hmm and then I went to a dinner party today... the guy passed the last of his board exams. (I have no idea which board it is.)

hmm... yup that is absolutely everything of interest that has happened to me.

comments for once.

yini, you will be able to check your email in china, correct?

POOPOOPOOP

so, the mavs lost the championship to the heat. wait, i mean, to dwyane wade. and life goes on sucking.

yeah, that day i met the doctor, he told me if i'm going into the medical profession, i should go all the way and be a doctor, and not stop halfway and just do research, unless i really love research. which i don't.

and yeah, i heard about burnside last semester and looked her up in the yearbook (as i recall, she wasn't on the staff list but was in the group photos). she looked pretty nice, i guess. all i heard about bearden was he likes sports and can sometimes be pretty harsh.

i am not that sick of plano or the school that much...but i am sick of my house.

oh and i couldn't ask again today, because my mom got pissed off again. i went out biking and i was going to be back in like 15 minutes, so i left the back door unlocked, and she totally flipped out when she got home. -__- i know that other people definitely leave their back doors unlocked 24/7 and nothing's happened to them. and the people in canada leave their front doors unlocked all the time, too, for heaven's sake! =( the chances of me going to six flags = slim.

JFK BLOWN AWAY

lol apush was actually a pretty funny class. stewart was so unbelievably lax on us. hahahahaha.

okay so I've decided that research is definitely not the way to go. I've realized the reason I liked labs at school is there's an end to them, and after you're done you can go do something else. like calculus or studying for the french quiz or english test or whatever. so pretty much since there are dumb people in the class, I will always be among the first ones done, and I'll have a lot of free time to do stuff I should have but didn't do at home. whereas in research, there's just an endless list of things to do. completely takes the drive out of doing anything fast.

my hair is very wet right now. it feels rather gross.

holy moly the things I would do to have a decent APC teacher next year. sadly, it is probably not to be. I really hope I have that burnside or barnside or whatever for stats, though. she was the cheerleading coach at jasper last year. weird, huh?

I should be reading summer reading, but nope. I can't believe june is already halfway over. that means 1/4 of our vacation is gone! holy moly, I don't want to go back to school.

but I do really want to go to college and get away from plano. this city/school is making me sick.

i have not written any essays or visited any colleges or looked at crime and punishment. haha.

but...i am currently watching It Started With a Kiss on youtube. SO CUTE! <333

camp is fun! but of course, who would want to go to feeseeks camp right. but still, =))) those genecons are really cool. however, our physics teacher from indiana has allegedly been teaching physics for 37 years but reeeeally seems like she knows nothing.

went to the hospital again today...had my first brussels sprouts ever. i didn't even know what they were. another eventless day. except i helped feed this baby with a cleft lip/palate =( it was so sad to see! and there were these twin girls, laotian/cambodian i think, who were sleeping, and holding hands! how cuteeeeee

ok i would write more, but i want to watch more of iswak

3/40 the way there

louisa went to smu today. we took a two-hour lunch break. haha. man, that girl is so motivated. she was angsting about college. and she's already written an essay. and visited stanford. and read half of crime and punishment.

now why can't I have that kind of drive?

but I did reread crossroads today. both versions. man, it's so good. and so sad. so so so sad. the thing about lily/james fanfics is that there's no way it'll turn out happy. because they have to die. sigh.

how was camp?

stop moping around

is what I need to do. mentally, I mean. and I guess physically. though I've been walking a lot more than I usually do. well actually that's questionable. we spend a lot of time walking around plano.

so I am pretty excited. not really all that excited, but it is a step of the whole stop moping around process. I am excited about having something to do tomorrow.

too bad I won't be going to feeseeks camp. oh well. who wants to go through two weeks of feeseeks in the summer anyway, right. I mean, we'll have a whole year of it next year. fun stuff. I can't wait. the anticipation is getting to me. I better have a good class. my class was painful this year.

lets see what happened this last week.

monday-friday
smu. that lab smells so horrible.

saturday
woke up at 11, ate, got glasses, came home, internet, called yini, sleep, yini called, mall, old navy, home, internet, sleep

today
woke up at 11, ate, slept, gap, costco, internet.

my days are all super duper exciting, can't you tell?

oh but NEXT SATURDAY. or actually. THIS SATURDAY. will be super duper fun!

yini, do you want to come with me and grace to little gus cafe in the morning? hehe I love little gus cafe! then movie (?) then lunch then pictionary and taboo until late late late.

EXCITING.

EVS CLOSETS = GROSS

Ok so this morning, I woke up way too early, took a shower, and then went to the hospital!

first i went down to engineering where they gave me a badge. which meant i had to take a picture. ugh terrible picture b/c i had a ponytail per volunteer regulations

They didn't know where to put me b/c the supervisor hadn't arrived yet, so they sent me to human resources, which sent me to the director of environment something. and so as we were walking down the hall he was like "your job will consist of some policing, wiping the dust off the ledges (with a demonstration as he wiped his hand along the ledges) and picking up any bits of trash. some people ask me if i'm dancing when i do this (twists his feet on the ground to get rid of those black scuff mark things) but i'm not. i want you to help police the first floor and look out for these scuff marks)." and then i was like thinking "is this a joke or what...." but yeah it was for real. he must have said the word policing at least 50 times today

and then i vacuumed the front carpets (my first time vacuuming anything, haha. i think i did a pretty good job) and the lobby and then went back. then he made this hispanic lady give me some windex, but then he was like oh wait, i want you to watch these videos first. so i watched these two SUPER BORING videos of people cleaning in a hospital. "your job is one of the most important at the hospital because the patient's first impression is their lasting impression" blahblah crap like that. housekeeping stuff. and then i finished (after having a bit of trouble switching the two videos b/c one had a sticker coming off. the vcr was really tricky. and i mean SERIOUSLY. like you had to turn it off, stick in the video halfway, THEN turn on the vcr and it would suck it in. i figured that out all by myself.) and i also looked at some of the cleaning lady's magazines. talking about moses martin and some other famous babies.

and then i went to go find the director of the evs. but i couldn't find him, which was what i was hoping for hehe. i went back to the front desk and then they found a supervisor who took me to med surg.

and there i sat for like an hour doing nothing but looking at the screens of people's heartbeats. are those ekgs? i think so...anyway the INCESSANT BEEPING. omg. it was like BEEP BEEP pause pause BEEP BEEP pause pause. THE ENTIRE TIME. anyhow. it was so. incredibly. boring.

but there was a cute young-looking doctor there hehe. not like patrick dempsey cute, but like edward norton cute. sadly, he looks to be about mid-20's - mid-30's. his name was christopher but all the nurses called him chris. and he came up and he was like "can i have one of those twisty things?" and i was like "huh?" and he was like "can i have one of those chrome-plated things, you know, that are in a curly swirl shape?" and this other old indian lady nurse started laughing and gave him a paper clip.

and then this other time he stood behind the computer screens so people couldn't see him and then stuck his arm between them and got this clear plastic thing that i could not identify but it was evidently not very important b/c he threw it on the floor. and the indian lady laughed again and picked it up. anyway, then i got to answer a couple of calls by the patients. and by answering, i mean, picking up the phone, finding out the iv was beeping, and telling the nurse for that room.

OH YEAH. and the charge nurse, carol, was SUPER GRUMPY. and sort of old. i hope she's not like that all the time...but after a while chris came around and starting joking with her about her pens and i think she lightened up. and then this old doctor (liennes or something) came and left. and chris was like "hey who was that doctor that just left?" and carol was like "i don't know let me check." and he was like "i think it was donald sutherland, right?" and carol was like no i'm pretty sure it was dr liennes. and he was like no it was definitely donald sutherland. and carol obvioiusly didn't know who donald sutherland was. and chris asked this other nice looking doctor who at first said it was dr. liennes but then he caught on. and carol was just confused. haha. and the copy machine kept jamming.

and then i eavesdropped on another asian-looking doctor. well it wasn't exactly eavesdropping, i just heard him since he was like 4 feet away from me talking into a phone. and he was talking so super fast and there was all this medical jargon and he was like ...yeah ok never mind i can't remember it anymore. but it was pretty impressive to me.

and then i stapled like 100 packets of one yellow paper, one white paper about pneumonia. with an electric stapler like the ones at school. joy. and then another jr. volunteer came up and helped me. and we talked a little bit and she warned me about the cafeteria food and recommended some stuff.

and then i went down around 12:30. and i ate a salad instead of the stuff she recommended b/c i felt like being healthy =) and i also did not eat the oreo parfait she recommended b/c it looked like 3 layers of heavy cream topped with cholesterol. although still delicious looking. oh yeah, and chris was there too. and he also ate a salad. but a heavier one, clearly, b/c it was more expensive. and then....i went off to NICU!

NICU was a bit more exciting than med. surg. they had me make charts for a while (like 15 charts i think) and then i ran out of this one paper so they had me go down to make more. and of course you are not going to use these numbers anyhow so i will write them here so i don't forget. 9094 to get into the copy room by west service elevators and 512 to get back into nicu. seriously, the west service elevators go to the EXACT same place as the west elevators, but they're ALWAYS faster. and then i stocked drawers with syringes. HEHE THE BABIES WERE SOOOOO CUTE <333 eeeeeeee. OMG THEY WERE SO FREAKING TINY!! SOOOOO TINY! it's unbelievable how tiny they are. have you heard that eyeballs don't grow? i heard some someplace. but when do they stop growing? b/c seriously, those things were SOOO TINY. i went to the same room under the pretenses of restocking drawers so i could look at this one super cute one. and there was this really young couple. the father looked between 17 and 21.

and then for a while, i sat an answered questions about my life from the nurses. who were looking at the mavs site on the internet and talking about the finals. and one of the nurses, eileen, found out she has the same birthday as dirk nowitzski, june 19. she was so thrilled. and linda is the funny black one. and cathy is the sort of ditzy but super sweet one. and ann is the one with the scottish accent. at least i think it's scottish, i can't really tell between all those accents. and crap, i forgot the name of the one who was actually assigning me jobs.

yeah and then i went down again to make copies. and i was holding them up to my face b/c the copies were warm and this other junior volunteer came in. haha that was sort of awkward but then he left.

and then i went to get on the elevator. and guess who just got in a service elevator. chris. and the door was already closing and he didn't like try to keep it open or anything so i didn't try to squeeze in. instead, i just pressed the up button again and, to my horror, the same one opened -_- so i just got in. and he had like this oxygen tank or something. luckily i was on the second floor so i got off pretty quickly. and then i spent a while doing the dallas morning news sudoku. which i failed at. -_- it was only a 3/5 stars. oh well. and the nurses were gossiping and cathy now thinks i'm really smart and told everyone. and then somebody called and they were like "which one is less, .125 or .25?" and cathy was like "ask grace! she's so smart!" and they did and they were like should we put references for that? grace!!" -___- and then eileen started talking about her college-age sons and their girlfriends. so we got a few laughs and stories there.

hmm this is getting to be a rather long post so... but then again, why not?

hehe ok so andrew's girlfriend is kelly, and one day he called eileen and he was like "mom!! what am i supposed to do? kelly is all crying and messed up and talking about breaking up!" and she was like "just let her relax, give her some time" and he's like "ok i'll call you back"

and then like 4 days later, after much worrying on eileen's part, he calls her back and everything seems fine. and they didn't mention the breakup. and eileen was reaally worried b/c that entire day she had seen commericals for the breakup, the movie. and finally she called him back and was like "so how about the breakup?" and he was like "uh mom, eileen's here standing next to me and you're on speakerphone" and eileen just about died. anyhow, andrew and kelly are still an item and like always together. but definitely not sexually active, which eileen is very grateful for.

and then the other boy, ben, has a girlfriend named stephanie, who is clearly very bad for him. eileen says she is SUPER CLINGY and they are like pretzels on the couch. like all twisted up and everything. ew. and his friends tried to stage an intervention. like they were like PUT YOUR HAND ON THE TABLE. and ben was like uhhh ok. and then they took a 7 inch knife and STABBED the table and yelled "SHE'S BLEEDING YOU!!" but every time he wants to leave her, she starts crying. and apparently she makes EVERYTHING into a crisis. total drama queen type.

ok enough about eileen's sons. haha. you probably are not the least bit interested. unless you don't have a life. haha like me.

and then after a while we started working on the commuter crossword puzzle together. until like 5:25 and i finally left. basically, the nicu was a bit of paperwork and a lot of sitting around, gossiping, and eating candy. those nurses were so nice!

and then i had left my stuff in the director of evs's room and he had left! so it was locked. and then i wandered around looking somewhat lost. and this nice lady asked me if i needed help and i explained it. and she was like follow me and then we went into an AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY place and she called security to come open the door. and while i was waiting, i looked at the wall. and guess what was on it? AN OR BOARD!! hahhahahah and she was like "so this is the O.R." and i was like haha yeah i figured. yeap. it was much less exciting than grey's anatomy. and much fewer people. but i think they had like different o.r. sections and i was in one of many. and then i went and got my bag.

and then i decided to go out the side door and then i saw a baby bunny. awwww it was so cute. and when i walked closer it didn't run away! and then i talked to it a little while and then just looked at it. and then somebody else comes out of the side door. three guesses who it was, and the first two don't count. yep. and then he's like "i put some lettuce out for it last week. they're so tame." and something else like that. and then he goes off and then i look at the rabbit some more. it was really super cute. and definitely a baby. and then i saw chris coming back b/c apparently he only went to go get something from his car so i went around and went in again through the front entrance haha. and then i knitted a little until my mom came.

sadly, i did not see ANY cute jr. volunteers. =(

and then we went to ensemble, where we had chair tests. whoohoo. but it went all right.

and tomorrow i'm at kd again! i hope andrew doesn't make me pick up the phone again, that was mortifying T-T

oh yeah, and then my mom saw the gap socks i bought. b/c i purposely walked to the kitchen right at that same time and handed her the gap bag to put in the bag cabinet under the sick. and she was like when/what did you buy and i showed her. and she was like wow only 97 cents? why didn't you buy more? and i was like no money. and then like 5 minutes later she came and gave me another 25$ giftcard. hehe. master of manipulation!!

hey everyone go badger yini into writing her story!

I'M EXCITED. I spent most of this morning thinking about the plot.

omg I HATE CENTRIFUGES. I don't have to patience to balance things.

aaanywayyyyy. I stayed until six today. I have a feeling I am being completely exploited. okay but I asked for it.

my day is really boring.

okay so we're going to have to do this thing both weekends (this and next saturday) because you won't be able to go on saturday, and on sunday by the time you get back it would be too late and parents probably wouldn't let any of us go out. plus louisa is in california this saturday.

so this is what will happen! we will maybe to go the mall (I would really like to this weekend, mainly for bath and body works) and then go have a potluck and play cards and pictionary and taboo and mahjong. =)

I'm going to A-Kon this friday! =) I just informed my mom of it today, and she didn't really raise any objections, so I guess I can go. bethany has a booth there and she's going to find me a free pass. hooray.

sigh. sleeping at 11 is such a chore, but then if I sleep any later I'm totally dead the next morning and my mom has to wake me up at mockingbird station.

grace, do you have internet access at kd?

EE EE EEE

that's the sound in movies when someone's holding up a knife, ready to plunge into some soft fleshy victim.

crap...i forgot what this post was supposed to be about.

so was that old lady one of those creepy evangelists?

ugh rebecca is sooooo freaking long. and wordy.

i got a time magazine today >=) hehe it was delivered to our house instead of 3309 Sailmaker. but i think i'll take it back, since i've already read most of it.

would anybody like to donate a little money to habitat for humanity so we can actually build next year? (we have to get in a contribution early, or else they won't invite us for the builds. and h4h looks good on college applications, or so i've heard.

ok seriously, there was going to be a real point to this post, but i forgot it.

my mom rearended a bmw yesterday, they want like over 1000 in damages. and then today my brother backed into somebody else's car. and my mom was maaaajorly pissed off. SO what does this make me? THE ONLY PERSON IN THE FAMILY WHO HASN'T HAD ANY CAR ACCIDENTS EVER. and who has not touched the wheel longer than anyone else in the family? ME. the last time i drove was like, day of fun. seriously.

anyhow. things are busying up this week. concert sometime on sunday, don't know when. i'll probably be back in plano by 7 at the latest...i hope it's the morning concert though. ok i found out it's at 1. might take two hours, then two hours back?

hmm. my family pisses me off sometimes. and by sometimes, i mean a lot of times.

no damn cat, no damn cradle

nothing of interest happened today. I got interviewed by some scary old lady about my "christian world view." I didn't have one. I don't even know what that is. then she explained to me what a christian world view is. I was too scared of her to say I don't really believe in god. bad day to say that to an old christian lady.

so yini and I were walking around the lake as we usually do. and all of a sudden we hear behind is this shout of, "I'm going to kill you!" and I thought it was just some random kid yelling to her sibling. I'm not sure what yini thought, but probably something along those lines. and then it was louisa.

then ning and jackie came. and it was a party. an impromptu party. and we played this really retarded rock-paper-scissors running game thing. which actually turned out kind of fun. I think all the adults there were giving us funny looks, though.

oh and we saw these four white girls (they looked middle school) who were playing volleyball. like actually PLAYING volleyball. two-on-two. and they were like actually passing the ball to each other and setting and spiking and everything. it was amazing. I am in awe.

and now it is 10.39 and I should be going to sleep in 21 minutes.

my knees hurt

and explain the name of the blog to me someday. it's confusing me.

so last night it was really warm. as texas summer nights generally are. I woke up at 3.27 (hooray) and couldn't fall asleep again. so I turned on my new fan. actually the fan I took from my brother. he had two fans. they were both new. he gave me the smaller one. he obviously is not that person who divided up the pears. kong zi. I think that was his name. now why couldn't I have had a brother like that. okay I guess I should be thankful he gave me a fan at all. back to my story. so I turned on the fan. and I fell asleep. I didn't turn off the fan. I didn't have a blanket. so I woke up with a chilled knee.

the dart train is ridiculously cold. as is the mustang express. but the lab is really warm. goody.

I was really sleepy today. but I do not regret our day of fun. I love stupid. and find a friend. we can play to ace at txfs. that was fun. and we can pull an all-nighter! b/c we'll be seniors and there won't be the pesky historiography or bridge or anything. ah, how horrible february was.

so when I went on my lunch break, which isn't really a lunch break, it was basically me telling kathy I was going to get lunch and she was like "what? okay, sure, yeahyeahyeah," I opted for a nap instead of food.

otherwise, it's pretty boring there. so many things have to be left alone for an hour. I washed a lot of lab equpiment. that lab smells so horrible. I hate e. coli. I read about six chapters of against all odds.

the train was super crowded on the way home. I finally got a seat by some middle-aged woman and we were sitting in front of a man and a woman.
man: so yesterday I was digging through my parents' stuff and I found their wedding pictures. they'd never showed them to me before.
woman: I bet they were beautiful.
man: they were married in june.
woman: that's a lovely month for a wedding.
man: I was born in may.
woman: with all the flowers blooming.
man: in the same year.
woman: ...
man: they preached to me my entire life about the dangers of sex before marriage, and they had a kid before they were married.
woman: it's amazing the things parents will keep from their children.
man: it's amazing the things children will keep from their parents.
middle-aged woman: you got that right. my parents didn't know I was pregnant until the baby popped out.
me: how did you manage that?
middle-aged woman: I ran away from home.
me: oh.
middle-aged woman: are you pregnant?
me: ...
middle-aged woman: oh, you are! those women at planned parenthood are very nice. very confidential. they're great.
me: thanks. this is my stop. bye.
middle-aged woman: it's nothing to be ashamed of, dear!

it's a good thing I get off at galatyn instead of parker.
